This was absolutely the best campervan service and experience my spouse and I have ever had! We live for road trips, camping, and exploring new/old favorite natural places. We have rented many cars/airbnbs/campervans in pursuit of what we love. Aclipse’s van, Maggie Waggin has easily stolen our hearts and this company is now our top recommendation for travel accommodation. (You can drive ANYWHERE in the US or Canada) We rented The Explorer for just the two of us for a quick 3 day trip in late October 2022. We were blown away at how easy/comprehensive the van was to drive and the amenities were to use. We had the most comfortable, safe, and luxurious off-grid camping experience! Aclipse thinks of basically everything for you so you get the rejuvenation of nature without the effort of carrying gear place to place or exposure to elements; except when you want them of course! This is especially cool for those that might not have their own camping gear or aren’t sure where to start but are ready to try. We LOVED the range of add on options that really allowed us to “disappear” in the woods and be fully self sufficient. The only thing we didn’t love was that we didn’t book more days! The value of this van/experience for the price is absolutely incredible- it’s less than we’d spend a day on safe a hotel room or a rental car half the size! We found ourselves really enjoying the routine of the tiny space and it made even the most mundane tasks feel novel, fun, and had us working together in a new way. It is effortless to be 100% in the moment on a trip with this van. We found places we’ve never seen in the gorge after camping there together for over a decade thanks to the confidence, ease, and accessibility this home-base camp gave us. We were cool during the day with the fan, warm during the night with the heater (and the provided rumpl brand blanket:)) we kept our two iPhones charged, and the added on dometic fridge running with solar energy and/or the recharge from whenever we drove the van. We camped in the trees with one day of rain and our battery never went below 70%! We had 5 gallons of fresh Water, diesel for heater (no it’s doesn’t smell when it’s running!) pillows, linens, 2 camp chairs, a table, all dishes, utensils, dish washing and basic cooking needs provided for. You can enjoy all the views with the doors wide open thanks to complimentary fitted bug nets. Enjoy climate control/privacy with fitted reflectix for the windows. The customer service is exceptional- so friendly and wildly accommodating. You can feel the owners’ have tremendous passion for what they provide. This is truly an outstanding company providing an outstanding product! HIGHLY recommended. Will absolutely book again and bring our kids next time:)

I had an amazing trip thanks to Aclipse Campervans. I rented an Explorer model to go on a road trip to Acadia National Park for a week with my dog. It was fantastic. The van came fully loaded and made a great home away from home for the week. I would definitely rent from them again!

Overall: We had a great experience with Aclipse Campervans. Sofia and Emily were delightful to work with. Communication was timely, pickup and drop off went smoothly, and all the equipment was clean and organized. They are a well run small local business. Our Trip: My partner and I rented the Scout (2nd people ever!), which we drove around Michigan for a week. We spent most of our time in the upper peninsula hiking and exploring (highlights: Porcupine Mountains and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore). We spent every night in the van at a combination of established campsites and dispersed sites. Many campgrounds were completely booked, so the fact we could sleep in the van each night gave us the peace of mind to spend more time exploring during the day. The Van: The Scout felt similar to driving an SUV and was more than capable of handling unimproved roads. While a smaller style, it was still large enough to store a weeks worth of food as well as our hiking/camping gear. We did have to move everything around each night to easily prepare the bed, but we could have avoided this by packing a bit lighter. The Bed: It's substantially more comfortable than camping. However, as a 6'6" human being I was pressed up against the rear door and driver seat (thankfully, I could just steal my 5'3" partners space each night). Cooking: We made all of our meals using the provided propane camp stove. The van comes stocked with all the cooking implements/eating utensils. We are used to backpacking, so we found it luxurious to start each day with an hot cup of tea and bowl of oatmeal. We would highly recommend renting a van from this company!

Great family trip. Highly recommend this company! Sofia was absolutely wonderful to work with. Aclipse vans and equipment are top of the line. They provided everything we needed and easily demonstrated how things worked. The kids already want to go again and sleep in the roof top tent. We will be using this company again.

Aclipse Campervans was a very great experience we had for first time hikers! We were very impressed with the layout of the van. The design was very convenient for a weekend trip up at the Red River Gorge. It was very clean and Sofia and Emily were great to work with! They made booking very simple and easy and they stocked the van with great essentials that came in handy! I would definitely recommend Aclipse Campervans for anyone looking for an outdoor adventure or "Glamping" style camping for the weekend! Thank you so much for providing a great experience to us!

We rented an Aclipse van 11/1/19-11/3/19 for a hiking weekend at Hocking Hills State Park. The rental process was super easy. The van is a great size because it easily fits into regular parking spaces. It is shorter than most pickup trucks and minivans. We were able to use a non-electric campsite which was much quieter. It got really cold at night and it was nice to be able to bundle up in a raised/enclosed bed. When we went out to dinner we just drove off with all our gear, no need to pack up tents, etc. The restaurant was small and we fit in the parking lot with no problem. A great experience. It will be hard to tent camp again...

Wow! This was a great experience. The camper van was even better than our expectations and had everything we could possibly need. At 6'4 I was a little worried about the bed size but it felt HUGE and was very comfortable for 2 of us and our pup. Pick up and drop off were fast and easy as well, can't wait to book our next trip.

I first met the team that runs Aclipse Campervans at the Red River Gorge Rocktoberfest event and was immediately impressed with their van. I kept thinking about it and browsing their website. I finally made the commitment and we rented one of their newer vans for a trip to Brown County State Park in Indiana. We LOVED it. It was so comfortable and well laid out that I knew immediately that we would have our own one eventually. From booking the van, picking it up, and then returning it the process was so easy; and the owners so nice! They are awesome!

Great company and group of owners! We just completed the trip of a lifetime with "Scout." Drove 4878, visited 7 National Parks, among other places! Such a once in a lifetime experience! The van worked great for anything we wanted to do (besides 4x4 which we knew going into it we wouldn't be able to do!). Definitely worth it! Take the drive, skip the plane!

Aclipse Campervans is on it! It’s an easy process to rent and return. The van was perfect, it was clean and ready to go when I arrived. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a weekend escape or a longer adventure!
