WATCH OUT FOR THE BONES!! I initially ordered the ox tail and jerk chicken but they didnt have any available. I decided to go with Lamb and Potato Roti and Sampler Platter. The fish cake tasted like sourdough and veggie samosas were mid. The lamb and potato roti was horrible. When I cut into it, I immediately got a bone. This was the worse eating experience ever. So much bones in the roti almost choked and broke my teeth eating this. I'll never order food from here again.

Salt fish and ackee was brilliant! I ate here on my recent visit to Barbados last week and I can say it was great. The staff were brilliant at helping explain what was on the menu answering any questions without being pushy for me to purchase off them.

Visited around 5pm on a Monday night so it was nice and quiet. My curry goat, coconut rice and sides was 10/10. I asked for extra spice which they added without issue. Tender, on the bone goat meat, a generous portion. Service was friendly and efficient. Price reasonable as the portion was quite big

Loved the food here, from the tender curry goat to the creamy cou cou and creole fish to the perfectly seasoned catch of the day! Reasonably priced and with good service. We came here three times in one week!

I’ve been craving Roti!!! Where I live, it’s hard to find unless I book a trip to East coast United States but I rather dine in paradise known as Barbados. My food came out piping hot and fast. Every bite was savory. I’m so glad I found them and that all the videos and reviews were on point. Great food and service! I’ll come back next time I’m in Barbados.

Avoid: Food Safety and Quality Issues I had a very disappointing experience with my order from Ackee Tree via Food Drop. Incomplete Order: They initially forgot the Goat Roti. When it finally arrived, it was rolled with large bones still inside the wrap. There was no warning on the menu; this is a major choking and dental hazard, as a wrapped roti is traditionally deboned. Spoilt Food: The Coconut Rice in the beef bowl had a distinct, putrid smell. I tried a few bites before realized it was clearly spoiled and unsafe to eat. Poor Flavor: The curry profile was very unusual and didn't hit the traditional West Indian flavors I expected. The Only Positive: The Fish Balls were actually good and the only part of the meal I enjoyed. Between the missing items, the spoiled rice, and the hazard of bones in a rolled roti, I won’t be ordering again. Serious lack of quality control.

As a person born and raised in Trinidad the curry chicken was such a disappointment. First look, the question is where is the green seasoning. Mouth full of turmeric taste and not the curry you would expect. Really sad how it say Trinidadian cuisine when it doesn’t represent Trinidad properly as it should be especially for the food. This is not how curry chicken taste in Trinidad.
