Unfortunately the hatch can't be extended because of joist and wall limitation. Relocation means burning money so given the existing opening size is ok to access I recommended to use the toilet entrance for ladder landing. Make sense though to spend money smart. Raised floor boarding with single side shelving, together with customising a drop down hatch and fitted a Werner 2 section aluminium ladder. Loft Lights shine up the place, and a new nice storage space created you couldn't agree more.
