My daughter started going here in September and I'm so happy we made the decision to enroll. The teachers and owner are amazing. They take a liking to the children and instill confidence in them so they can be their best self on stage and during class. The children love their classes and take pride in their work. My daughter thrives in this type of environment. She is doing what she loves and is surrounded by other girls who look just like her. The black girl magic is in AbunDance here. We love it and highly recommend it. Thanks Miss Karisma for giving our girls this safe space. It is a gem and much needed for our community.

My daughter has attended Abundance for two years as of this summer. She has grown in skill, personality and understanding of her own culture. Abundance has enriched her life beyond dance to understand history around who we are in the world? What she is doing? Why we are doing it? (dance, history lessons or communication) And, why? Most importantly, Abundance has created another lane for expectation that is not limited to dance. Expectation for her to be the best version of herself in every way.

AbunDance is such a wonderful community for our Black and Brown girls. I love the emphasis on building confidence and presence through dance. The teachers are both warm and firm - a great balance for our developing young minds and bodies. My 3.5 year old is having loads of fun!

My daughter loves dancing with Abundance Academy. She not only learns to dance but, also learned the history of dance as well. She also has been able to create some of her on dance moves. It truly has been an AMAZING EXPERIENCE for us.

Highly recommended!!! Both my daughter and niece attend and they are thriving. The professionalism, the broadway like shows at kings theater and love is amazing. The girls have grown so much and it’s wonderful to see how Abundance has groomed them.

Abundance Academy of the Arts had their annual dance recital at the kings theatre Sunday evening .June 24 and I have to report that on that day Broadway moved to Brooklyn. Generally children's dance recitals are cute with adorable babies on stage being babies for the benefit of their adoring families in the audience. This was far from the ordinary recital rather it was a Broadway production with professional singers musicians adult actors and child performers woven together to present an exciting and different rendition of Dream Girls. I was rivited from beginning to end and although the performance was nearly three hours when it ended I was disappointed and thirsted for more because I was being thoroughly entertained. I could continue writing about this production but it would be too long a review describing extraordinary and outstanding showmanship. My best suggestion is next year the last Sunday of June be sure to buy tickets for the entire family and attend the AbunDance Academy of the Arts production I promise you will not be disappointed.

My little sister loves to dance and you can tell she has what it takes to be a great performer. She has been attending this dance school for almost 2 years and the skills she is gaining is enhancing her talent. I highly recommend this school.

My daughter Imani was introduced to dance by Ms. Kharisma and her studio. She was initially reluctant to engage but Ms. Kharisma ignited a spark. Now my daughter is a self assured dancer that is self driven to perfect her craft and assured in front of an audience. In addition, she has found a community of kinship that extends into friendship beyond the studio. Both Imani and herself are excited about our continued involvement and her development within Abundance.

This dance school is like a high performance center for dance and musical theater. It strikes the necessary balance between focus and fun and provides a familial environment for students to explore their artistic strengths and weaknesses. There is also a purposeful focus on character-building and reflection that helps guide students toward a growth mindset. And if that isn't enough, the end-of-year performances are epic.
