Torsion Cables, Extension Operating Cables, and Extension Safety Cables should always be replaced in a set in order to maximize garage door longevity.

Extension garage door springs run along the tracks on both sides of the garage door. Must be replaced as a pair for maximum garage door longevity.

Garage door struts are recommended by many manufacturers for garage doors that are run by an electric operator. The strut (a metal bar that runs from one end of the section to the other) works to keep the section from bending and bowing.

These are hinges that hold the sections together. The lower the steel guage, the stronger the hinge.

Garage door torsion springs are mounted at the header above the garage door. Typically single car doors have one spring and double car doors have two springs. Garage door springs should be replaced in pairs where applicable for maximum garage door longevity.

Garage door weather stripping or seal is installed along the perimeter of the garage door to close any gaps, prevent critters from entering, and keeps water from seeping in. Also helps insulate.
