A pescatarian diet excludes meat, focusing on fish and other seafood, plus vegetables, grains and pulses.
Pescatarian diets are increasingly popular for a variety of reasons. Although it does have health benefits and you can get sources of high protein, plus plenty of omega-3 fatty acids, a diet based exclusively on fish and plant based foods can, in some cases, increase your risk of nutrient deficiencies. Just like any other diet, you should still set a calorie and macro goal when eating pescatarian.
