A Place for Dreamers Horseback Ride & Trail Ride

10 outta 10!!!! This was an amazing experience. From the horses to the instructor to the ride. The instructor paired us perfectly with the horses. Me and Storm locked in now. The horses are extremely well trained and the instructor is patient and answers question all throughout. He’s very attentive. My daughter enjoyed herself. We did the 30 min ride and it was well worth it to get a feel of it but I’ll definitely do the hour next time!! I can’t wait to go back and take my 9 yr old. The vibe was amazing!!!

So today on my random side quest I decided to go horseback riding for the first time! I had a wonderful time & I fell in love with Train!!! He is truly amazing & a great listener. I went with Justine. She was my guide on the ride & also was amazing, reassuring, & knowledgeble. Of course I was pretty nervous cause horses are big strong animals but I also know they feel energy so I was trying to remain calm. I’m glad I went with Justine. We chatted the whole time & it was therapeutic being out there w/ Train & the other horse she rode. I believe his name is Butters! Haha so cute. I also love that this is black woman owned. Once again since Train made me fall in love with him & Justine was so very helpful I’ll def be back very soon! There was also another guy there that reassured me that train will take care of me on my ride. He was right! Thank you so much to all of you & also to the amazing Train. 💞 🥹 so lovely! This review doesn’t even do it justice on how much I enjoyed my time!

Awesome Western Experience! I was visiting Houston from New York and wanted a uniquely Texan experience, and this family-owned farm delivered. I visited with friends from the Houston area. We opted for the one-hour guided horseback trail ride for three. The ride was peaceful, scenic, and well organized. Our guide, Roland, matched riders thoughtfully with horses, explained safety clearly, and made the ride enjoyable for all experience levels. Heads-up!: As a safety measure, phones and personal photos/videos are not allowed during the experience but are available for an additional fee. This was my only downside as an out-of-town visitor wanting personal memories. But, safety first! The petting zoo was a nice bonus. The animals were friendly, well cared for. You can really feel the pride the family puts into this place. If you’re in Houston, looking for a relaxing outdoor activity, a break from the city, or an authentic Texan experience, this place is absolutely worth visiting.

Excellent birthday trail ride (beginner-friendly + welcoming team) I reached out to Chalan at A Place for Dreamers Horseback Ride & Trail Ride to schedule a last-minute birthday ride for my wife and me. They were booked, but she said she’d do her best to accommodate us. Within about 20 minutes, she had us scheduled and saved the whole plan. When we arrived, Roland greeted our group and was the consummate professional, patient, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. He made the ride fun and engaging, checked in with everyone, and ensured all of us beginners felt comfortable and safe the entire time. No one felt left out. The weather was perfect, and the scenery was relaxing. Overall, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. We plan on becoming regulars, and I’m excited to see Roland continue toward his goal of becoming an animal specialist. Highly recommend A Place for Dreamers if you want a great trail ride and a team that truly cares.

I had an amazing time! This was very therapeutic and all the staff was so accommodating. I would highly recommend this for beginners, experienced, and in between riders. The horses are manner able and listen. Shout out to the family that owns the place. They made us feel like family.

Great Experience! Very Family Oriented with amaing energy! Every one is so personable. Shoutout to David, Shaye, and Rollin, they were patient and made us feel comfortable the whole time. 50 Shades treated me welll. 🥰 I'll definitely be back!

My wife and I had an awesome time with our experience here. We booked an hour ride, and we felt like that was the perfect amount of time. The horses are well taken care of, well trained, and extremely friendly. Not once did we feel uncomfortable with them. I had the pleasure of riding Train and my wife rode Blueis. Big shout out to Roland, who was our guide/instructor. This young man was very professional, informative, and a pleasure to talk to. He's all about making the experience memorable for everyone. We look forward to visiting again.

Great experience! This is my first time riding a horse and my instructor Roland did an outstanding job on explaining and answered any questions I have. I will definitely return and invite others as well.

Justine was so wonderful; she was very attentive to all the riders and talked to us throughout the ride! We rode 4 horses and each had their own personality. I rode the horse Storm who was the most lovely horse, super intelligent!!! We plan on coming back here again!!!

I had such an amazing experience horseback riding! The horses were beautiful, well-cared-for, and so gentle. You can tell they are loved and well-trained. The instructors were incredible, patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging the entire time. They made me feel comfortable and confident, no matter my experience level. I learned so much and had so much fun. I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in horseback riding!
