Awesome Western Experience! I was visiting Houston from New York and wanted a uniquely Texan experience, and this family-owned farm delivered. I visited with friends from the Houston area. We opted for the one-hour guided horseback trail ride for three. The ride was peaceful, scenic, and well organized. Our guide, Roland, matched riders thoughtfully with horses, explained safety clearly, and made the ride enjoyable for all experience levels. Heads-up!: As a safety measure, phones and personal photos/videos are not allowed during the experience but are available for an additional fee. This was my only downside as an out-of-town visitor wanting personal memories. But, safety first! The petting zoo was a nice bonus. The animals were friendly, well cared for. You can really feel the pride the family puts into this place. If you’re in Houston, looking for a relaxing outdoor activity, a break from the city, or an authentic Texan experience, this place is absolutely worth visiting.

My fiancée and I had an amazing time at A Place for Dreamers Horseback Ride & Trail Ride this past weekend while we were in town for Beyoncé. Booking was super easy, and we chose the 30-minute ride for two riders, which cost about $92—a great value for the experience! Our host, Genevieve, was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and hardworking. It had rained before our visit, so she couldn’t prep the horses ahead of time, but as soon as the rain stopped, she got everything ready quickly and we were only about 5 minutes behind schedule. She helped us get on the horses and explained everything clearly, making us feel comfortable and safe. The horses were absolutely wonderful—so sweet and gentle. It was my first time riding, and my horse, Tank, made it so easy. A few tips if you go: • Arrive on time, since you might be riding with other groups. • Wear boots because it can be muddy. • Wear pants and possibly a long-sleeve shirt since you’ll ride through tall grass and bushes with thorns. •. Don’t bring your phone, glasses and/or other loose items on the ride. If they fall, they are more than likely lost. • Take a little time to explore the property! They have goats, rabbits, and other horses you can visit before and after your ride. We had a fantastic experience and would 100% recommend A Place for Dreamers to anyone looking for a fun and memorable adventure. 10/10!

My wife and I had an awesome time with our experience here. We booked an hour ride, and we felt like that was the perfect amount of time. The horses are well taken care of, well trained, and extremely friendly. Not once did we feel uncomfortable with them. I had the pleasure of riding Train and my wife rode Blueis. Big shout out to Roland, who was our guide/instructor. This young man was very professional, informative, and a pleasure to talk to. He's all about making the experience memorable for everyone. We look forward to visiting again.

Great start to the new year! My husband and I went on an afternoon date here, and it was a blast. The horses are well cared for, and the trail ride was a fun, easy pace throughout the property, perfect for beginner riders. It was also a treat to spend time loving on all the horses (and the other animals on the property, too!). Janice was our guide for the day, and she was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole hour a great experience. I’ll definitely be back with my kids (9 and 10), who have never been around horses before.

A Place for Dreamers is exactly what the name promises—a little slice of magic for anyone who loves horses, nature, or simply wants to escape the everyday. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and comfortable, whether we were first-time riders or more experienced. The horses are incredibly well-cared for and beautifully matched to each rider’s comfort level, which made the whole experience both safe and enjoyable. The trail itself is stunning—winding through peaceful landscapes, open fields, and shaded forest paths that feel straight out of a storybook. Every moment on the ride felt calming, inspiring, and unforgettable. What really stood out was the atmosphere: it’s not just about horseback riding, it’s about slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and enjoying a soulful experience. By the end, I felt both relaxed and energized—like I’d truly stepped into a dream for a few hours. If you’re looking for something unique, uplifting, and memorable, I can’t recommend A Place for Dreamers enough. Whether you’re a solo traveler, couple, or family, this is an experience you’ll carry with you long after the ride ends.

We booked a one hour ride to celebrate a birthday and it was such a memorable and enjoyable experience! With it being our first time, we were a little nervous. And Roland, a cowboy and our guide, made sure we not only had a great time but also made sure we felt comfortable and safe! We got a chance to bond with the horses we rode before riding them on the trail. Roland was informative, polite, friendly, funny and overall had great customer service!! And he’s really good with the horses! I would certainly recommend this experience to others and when you go ask for Roland!
