A & A Paving

My neighbors and I just hired A&A paving to redo our road. May 2025. They came out and completed an estimate quickly and gave us 4 options ranging in cost from low to high. Raul explained the entire process from start to finish and made the billing easy between me and my neighbors. We choose an overlay and despite it being an old road with previous work and a steep incline that meets up with pavers, they did an excellent job. They showed up on time and completed job at estimated time of completion. I would highly recommend this company. 5 stars.

I hired A&A Paving to replace the asphalt on our 35-year-old private road serving four half-acre residential lots. In addition to providing a fair and reasonable bid, I found Raul at A&A to be exceptionally responsive, reliable, and professional. He clearly knew what he was doing and was personally involved throughout the two-day project. The finished work looked excellent, and the company provided a two-year warranty. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The overall process of obtaining three bids from local asphalt contractors was frustrating—out of nine or ten companies I contacted, only three showed up and provided proposals. Some never returned calls, and several missed scheduled appointments. I also received proposals for cheap patchwork repairs and an overly expensive overlay that wasn’t practical due to our 8% road grade. A&A Paving stood out as the only contractor who showed up on time, returned every call, and demonstrated real expertise. Raul was easy to work with from start to finish, and it’s no surprise that A&A has the best reviews among local paving companies. Highly recommended!

A&A paving just completed our driveway in Danville that serves 3 homes. Raul was very easy and nice to work with, and the driveway looks like the year 2025 instead of 1825!!!!!

A&A is a top notch company. Raul did the estimate and answered all of our questions. Myself and Two of my neighbors had them dig out in the fronts of our homes, lay base rock, compact and put down new asphalt. We were all three completely satisfied. They took the time to do the little requests we were individually throwing out at them on the day of with no complaints. There pricing was very competitive. They are a family business with great attitudes and they know what they are doing. I would definitely recommend Raul and his family.

Our job was hundreds of feet long with significant grading, two hills, a bend, a 6" curb, and delicate work against a retaining wall and a rock wall. The guys at A&A were professional from start to finish. It's mostly a family running the show, so there's camaraderie and a communal effort to get the job done efficiently and well. Raul, who leads sales, was exactly on time for a quote and follow-ups. The entire crew was early both days of tear up and paving. They worked through 95-degree heat and aimed to please with every detail. Very friendly. The pricing and negotiation was fair and they kept to their word with a precisely worded contract (so be sure to read, adjust and agree in writing - a good thing). Clean up was tidy. Absolutely recommend A&A.

Our HOA hired Raul and his team to resurface our private road. They showed up on time and got right to it. Raul is very personable and great person to do work with. They did a fantastic job and will use him in the future. I highly recommend him and his team.

A and A paving comes to me highly recommended by my neighbor. Raul Arias is the foreman and he did a wonderful job on my driveway and seal coat. Price was reasonable and quality was good. They can pave large and small jobs, has modern equipment, keeps his word and is very easy to work with. Always on time and he has an excellent crew. He will start paving our private road, a very large job next week.

We recently completed a large construction project and needed an asphalt strip completed at the end of our driveway with a small curb. My contractor met Raul at another local project and he kindly came by my project the same day to complete the asphalt for me. Raul and his team were friendly and efficient with clear communication. And, they did a high quality job at a fair and reasonable price. And they left the area tidy and clean when they finished. These guys are amazing! No joke. So many contractors chasing jobs these days that it’s hard to find a quality company who can do asphalt correctly. My driveway is very steep and hadn’t been done completely over in 35 years. Slurry on top of slurry and asphalt. They did an amazing job. Close to 3500 square feet of driveway in 1 day. Also Raul who priced and measured job was helpful and had competitive pricing. I think his crew that came was 8-10 guys.
