My dad had passed away and I was left with the difficult decision on what to do with his 1987 Cimarron. Do I fix it up and drive it? After all, it was a cute little, low mileage car. I called a few places to see what I could get for this 38 year old car that had been parked in the garage since like 1999. Some places low balled me, I’m assuming it was because I’m a female. (Had a male friend call the next day, he was offered $250 more for the same exact car) A-1 had the highest offer, came out the day they said they would, and without any problems, the driver was about to pull the car out of the garage and load onto the flatbed truck.
The best part about this experience was the driver. He was courteous, notified me when he was about a half hour away and made a very difficult situation much easier. He paid me what I was offered via text for the car, I was fully expecting him to lower the original offer, the driver didn’t allow that to happen. Parting with my dad’s belongings has been very difficult and having a driver like that made it so much easier. Thank you!
