A 1 Towing & Cash For Junk Cars

My dad had passed away and I was left with the difficult decision on what to do with his 1987 Cimarron. Do I fix it up and drive it? After all, it was a cute little, low mileage car. I called a few places to see what I could get for this 38 year old car that had been parked in the garage since like 1999. Some places low balled me, I’m assuming it was because I’m a female. (Had a male friend call the next day, he was offered $250 more for the same exact car) A-1 had the highest offer, came out the day they said they would, and without any problems, the driver was about to pull the car out of the garage and load onto the flatbed truck. The best part about this experience was the driver. He was courteous, notified me when he was about a half hour away and made a very difficult situation much easier. He paid me what I was offered via text for the car, I was fully expecting him to lower the original offer, the driver didn’t allow that to happen. Parting with my dad’s belongings has been very difficult and having a driver like that made it so much easier. Thank you!

The driver showed up on time when they said they would. Also gave me what I was looking for on the price of the vehicle. We had a good talk about the vehicles history.

We had a cracked rim and found a rim for the same car at this junk yard. I went back 4 times on the bus 2 hours there and back from Roseville and each time there was a different excuse for why they couldn't remove it even though it was promised to be ready for us and when I told them I'd take it off myself they insisted on taking it off for us. I missed 3 days of work and the last time I came they said that they torched and ruined all the rims when they tried to take it off. No apologies for all the wasted time and when asking for a different part they said it wasn't worth selling by itself. Unreliable and bad customer service. The owner reached out and said he'd make things right but never fixed anything and ignored me.
