I met KGR on a day that was trying to push me to my limit. My car had already been giving me trouble, and earlier that same day I got completely blown off by another mechanic I’d been planning with for almost two weeks. Just as I got to work one of my hoses burst a leak, I thought this is perfect! I already have a mechanic coming! and then He just told me something else came up and basically said to find someone else. I felt stuck, frustrated, and like I couldn’t count on anyone.
Then my car died and I really didn’t know what to do. KGR gave me a time window, but he ended up slammed with other jobs — and instead of doing what that other mechanic did, he sent someone else to help me and kept checking in the entire time to make sure I was okay.
