Are new customers being ignored here? I arrived at Allied Plumbing and Fire Supply at 7:50 AM and was the only customer in the store. There were four clerks behind the counter talking to each other, yet no one acknowledged me or offered assistance. I stood there for over 15 minutes before I finally had to ask if anyone was available to help me. After that, I waited another 15 minutes just to get my will call and add five angle stops. The entire process took over 30 minutes — while at some points I was literally the only person in the store. As someone who works in the trades, time matters. Standing around while employees socialize instead of helping customers is frustrating and unprofessional. A simple “We’ll be right with you” would have gone a long way. I expected better service.
