SHIRLEY FOOT & BODY SPA

So we decided to do a couple’s massage after a few weeks of very busy schedules and aching bodies! Since we’ve been to Shirley a few years ago at her old location and loved it, we decided to try this new spot which is very conveniently located right downtown. Parking wasn’t too bad, found a meter a couple of blocks away. The spa itself is very comfortable and clean and felt very welcoming. Made the appointment with Shirley when they opened and came at 11:30am. Shirley greeted us warmly with hugs and smiles like we’re old friends, so welcoming! My partner got Vivi and I got Shirley herself as our masseuses. Our massages were simply amazing! They worked out the tension and found our respective problem spots. And they always checked with us about the pressure and the room temp to make sure we were absolutely comfortable and getting the best, which we were throughout the entire one hour session. After our session they offered us waters and chatted with us. We paid for our sessions ($88 for the hour) in cash cos there’s a 4% charge if you use a credit card. And of course we also gave each of them a cash tip for their excellent work. Can’t wait to come back again, and we might even do it again before we leave this week!

I had such a wonderful experience! Alisa, who did my massage, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, skilled, and made sure the pressure was perfect throughout the session. The highlight for me was definitely the foot massage — it was incredibly relaxing and soothing, and I could literally feel all the tension melt away. Overall, everything was great and I left feeling refreshed and completely rejuvenated. Thank you, Alisa!
