The Lodge at Banner Elk

The staff were amazing and friendly and it was a very convenient location when snowboarding sugar mountain. The rooms were ok, but not great. The bathroom was tiny, the beds were so noisy every time you moved the bedframe would squeek. The walls were very thin so you could hear everything around you. The shampoo bottles were so tiny and felt terrible on my hair. Overall very convenient but not good for comfort.

This was our second straight year staying at The Lodge, and main reason for our return is the excellent service from the staff, especially the front desk. The two rooms were good, and connected to each other, which was a nice perk. Location worked out once again, as close to Sugar and Grandfather Mountains, as well as Hawksnest Tubing.
