I had a bathtub that wasn’t draining properly, so I watched a YouTube video on how to remove the drain stopper. Unfortunately, when I pulled it out, the “X” piece inside broke off along with the hair clog. Someone I know who has some plumbing experience tried to remove the broken piece, but another part ended up breaking too - leaving the drain looking like the bottom - left photo in my collage.
I contacted Discount Plumbing & Repair, LLC company, and the owner was very professional and straightforward. After reviewing the pictures I sent, he gave me a clear price right away. What really impressed me was that he was able to send someone within an hour!
Steve came to my home, and he was extremely experienced, friendly, and professional. Since I already had a new drain stopper from Home Depot, he even lowered the labor cost. I also appreciated that he wore shoe covers so he wouldn’t track dirt into my bathroom.
He fixed everything perfectly, and the new drain looks just like the bottom-right photo. The top photo shows some of the tools and the process of getting it all repaired.
I would absolutely use this company again - and I would definitely request Steve next time.
