Best posh fish butty I have ever eaten. Tea was served in beautiful crockery & the carrot cake was Divine!!!… I highly recommend you try this place. Be warned it’s popular, so remember to book. I want to say a huge thank you to the staff, Vicky, Pete & Vilte.

⭐ 5 stars My husband and I visited here before my hospital appointment and found it completely by accident — it’s almost within the hospital grounds! Honestly, from the outside, especially at the traffic lights, it doesn’t look very inviting or even like an eatery — more like a hotel bar. But since it was so close to the hospital, we decided to give it a try. To our surprise, the inside was absolutely lovely — warm, beautifully decorated, and very welcoming. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the service was quick. The breakfast menu was huge, with some great veggie options and a few unusual choices too. We went for the “sort of a chip butty” — a sourdough bun with two hash browns and a fried egg — and it was delicious! We were so pleased we stopped in. I’m sure we’ll be back every time we visit the hospital. I even managed to leave my bag behind in my panic about the appointment, and when my husband went back later, they recognised him straight away and had it ready for him — so kind and thoughtful. A really lovely place, with lovely food and lovely people. Highly recommend!
