We had a 1990s bathroom in our apartment in desperate need for an update. Upon making contact with Derek it was clear that he knew what he was talking about when it came to renovations, and his quote seemed very reasonable. Prior to the renovation Derek provided all details relating to licensing as required by the Body Corporate, but what I appreciated the most was his preparedness to communicate during the renovation process. If I could give Derek from Renovate Homes Right a 10 out of 5, I absolutely would. Derek came into our project about a quarter of the way through and quite literally saved us after discovering we’d been dealing with an unlicensed builder. That alone is no easy feat—let alone taking over a bathroom renovation in a 1970s home that already had questionable work completed. Derek was on site every single day, always on time, and there for the full day for the entirety of the project. He personally managed and oversaw every aspect, navigating several unexpected challenges along the way with professionalism and calm. I can honestly say Derek has the patience of a saint. His honesty, reliability, and commitment to doing things properly gave us complete confidence in the process and the final result. I 100% recommend Derek to anyone looking for a trustworthy builder who genuinely cares about bringing your project to life the right way.
