I believe the two repairs I authorized may have been unnecessary. Based on my experience, I’d suggest others ask questions and request the old parts back before approving similar work. They told me I needed to replace two parts. I was distracted and approved it, and asked them to put the removed parts in the trunk. When I inspected them, they looked nearly new to me. I checked my records and saw my son and I replaced those parts about two years and about 8k miles earlier. To sanity-check, I took the removed parts to another mechanic and posted photos on a mechanic forum; both said the parts appeared to be in good condition/serviceable. I’m upset, but I’ll eat the $900 and won’t be using them again.

The MPC Westmont location was absolutely phenomenal. I have been here twice and both times I have had a great experience. Specifically Jaxxon and Paul were excellent and were very transparent on what needed to be done to my car. They also followed up with me to ensure that I was satisfied and I absolutely was. Highly recommend them!
