This review is for those who are sick and desperately seeking health and a shoemaker practitioner. Do yourself a favor and find a shoemaker practitioner on surviving mold. You won't find Lyday on that list and now I understand why.
I was not treated as though my health and wellbeing were important. I was not treated with respect and care. Lyday goes through the motions. I compare her practice to turn and burn. It's all about the Benjamin's baby. She speaks poorly of the wellness way, but she does the exact same thing that they do. At least they treat their patients with respect.
It took us a few months to get bloodwork done as the cost was 14,000.00 each and we were working with our insurance. I secured a clinic per our insurance and the clinic cancelled on us last minute. I did my due diligence again and found a new clinic. I sent a message explaining everything, asking the clinic to send my labs to the new clinic and Lyday responded that we would incur a cost because her staff "bent over backwards" to send our labs out. No concern with our delayed healing just concern with her pocket book. Super professional and empathetic.
She prescribed an antifungal for my fiance and I asked her if he needed a binder. She said no she was comfortable with the antifungal. At his follow up she said why aren't you on a binder? Hmm, I wonder? He herxed and herxed for 6 weeks.
Lyday ran methylation tests per my request. I came back with an SNP that doesn't break estrogens down( this was found out on my own the hard way- no heads up from "doc")I asked her about HRT and she prescribed a hefty dose of all hormones. I was miserable for 6 weeks- migraine, fatigue, muscle pain, brain fog. Thanks Doc. Good work.
We requested DR notes about our condition. She copied and pasted them ( my letter had the word "he" multiple times throughout) but we were both charged 250.00 -1/2 hour each letter. Uh huh. Right.
The lab ran our TGFB-1 as GH. I reached out and asked if this was ok. I was told yes. It actually wasn't correct. We are now incurring more costs and time away from work due to the ignorance of her practice.
Prior to prescribing a binder(shoemaker protocol), she recommended 3 TPE treatments(not shoemaker protocol AND 7,000.00 per treatment). Why is she wearing shoemaker certified like a badge but not following shoemaker protocol? Cha Ching! That's why.
Her front staff that interact with patients are not shoemaker proficiency partner certified. When paying 600.00 per hour, I expect well educated and trained staff in what I am seeking care for so they can accurately answer my questions and concerns. It's common practice with shoemaker docs to have front staff who are proficiency partners.
I had to reschedule my appt due to a very costly vehicle repair. I reached out and was told it would be a charge of 150.00. She charged me 300.00. She said it's hard to fill spots last minute. Well she was 20 minutes late the appt directly after my cancelled appointment. Draw your own conclusions. Screenshot (deposit was 150)
Lyday reserves her empathy and care for her emails and marketing. My experience made that crystal clear. She is what I would call smarmy. This doctor sent me into numerous flares. Good work "doc".
She openly states in multiple emails she is healing alongside her patients. Why isn't she healed if her protocols work so well? You know the ones she sells so hard on her website and via email?
It is very distasteful practice to treat desperate, sick patients with so much disregard. I at least expected some understanding. Our situation is dire and she is very familiar with all the intimate details of our situation.
Please do yourself a favor and go surviving mold to find a healed, shoemaker certified doc.
After leaving a review, she locked me out of my account and denied me access to my medical records. Twice. Very mature.
If the truth sounds discrediting, I can't help that. I have receipts. If I thought Lyday could help sick, desperate people, I would be shouting her name from rooftops. We need more GREAT CIRS docs.
