i just bought a house which has an existing boat dock that needs some updating. its a job i think i can do myself but i wanted some advice from a professional and a review of my plans before moving forward. i had the hardest time getting an industry pro to even answer my calls/emails. look, i get it, i"m doing it myself so i understand why a pro would focus their efforts elsewhere but i offered to pay multiple companies for their review and advice but....no takers. that is, until i made contact with Alan Horn at Fender Marine. i don't know if Alan is like this all the time or if i just caught him on a quiet day in the office but that guy took the time to answer every question i threw at him, even sending me back a revised sketch of my plans with a product recommendation list. i may never need Alan or Fender Marine again but, if anyone reading this needs a boat dock built, i would give them a call because if this is how they treat a 'customer' that they earned zero money from (he never took me up on my request to bill me for his time) i can only guess that a paying customer would be WELL looked after. thank you Alan.

We are currently building the world’s tallest Slingshot amusement ride at 300’ tall and the world’s tallest free standing Free Fall amusement ride at 430’ on International Drive in Orlando Fl. The foundations for both attractions were very complex due to the limited space and ground conditions. Working with Fender Marine Construction for the Slingshot foundation we were able to install 30’ sheet piles which enabled construction to remain inside the leased area without obstructing public walk ways. The Free Fall tower foundation was extremely challenging. Fender Marine installed 24” pipes which were vibrated 40’ into the ground. During the process Fender Marine were able to adapt to changing conditions and ensure that the installation of the pipes continued in a timely manner. Fender Marine had the expertise and equipment to deal with any situation that arose and communicated continuously with the Project Engineer and General Contractor to guarantee the desired result. I would have no hesitation recommending using Fender Marine Construction and will definitely use them on all of our future installations Ritchie Armstrong Orlando Starflyer The Slingshot Group of Companies
