Sister Lavender Spa

This was my first time here and I came with friends/family to celebrate my birthday. We drove all the way down from Wisconsin and it was worth it! It was such a great experience and the staff was so kind! They even blew up balloons and put up “happy birthday” decorations. We booked the 2 hour session that included a 1-hr massage then a 1-hr hair treatment. It was so relaxing and comfortable. I had such a good time, I want to make this an annual birthday treat for myself! I def recommend if you’re looking for an experience to relax and treat yourself!!

I saw there was a new massage/ mani/ pedi spot!! Exciting. Super cute inside. Nice smells. I got a full body massage and cupping! Best cupping I’ve experienced in Chicago!!! Super reasonable prices and you can book online! I’m excited to make this a regular thing. Great services. ☺️

Came here with my friend for a spa day and we really liked it. We did a deep tissue massage, head spa, and manicure and pedicure . The massage was actually really good 🫶I had a lot of soreness and it helped a lot. Good pressure, not too light. The head spa was super relaxing, and they also did a facial during it which was a nice surprise. They also used a machine on my feet to remove dead skin, and it made a big difference 🥳my feet felt really smooth after. Honestly better than some other nail places I’ve been to. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Would come back again.

The was the best manicure and pedicure I have had in Chicago! My nail beds were prioritized and not filed down like other salons. The nail color selection was amazing. The ingredients smelled so nice and they used real aloe vera and lemons. I also got a 90min deep massage that made me re-evaluate why I dont do this more often. I highly recommend the guy (I didnt catch his name /:) because he found all my sore spots and made them go away. He was responsive to my muscles and was the rough-ness I wanted. I will be coming back!

Had such a great experience at Sister Lavender SPA! I got the head spa and foot treatment, and it was super relaxing. The place is really clean, cozy, and peaceful. The staff were very sweet and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Definitely one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had👍will definitely come back!🎊

6/17/26 Update: Dirty Pedicure Tools and Behaviors Updated to 2 star review because of dirty pedicure tools. State board requires nail salons to dispose of items that cant be sanitized between clients. As my nail tech was using a buffer bar on me, and the nail tech was even looking for an unused spot so she definitely knew it was used. The files were also all visibly used. None of the metal tools were opened from sanitary autoclaved packaging as required by the state board. The drill bit used was the wrong drill bit to remove gel- they did not have sanding bands or know what they were when I address the issue, which are also supposed to be disposed between customers. When I addressed the concerns of the files and buff bars with the manager, the manager told me “thanks for the suggestion” and I let her know that it wasn’t a suggestion and it’s the state board requirement. I get the impression that they just added nails on top of the massage parlor and are not licensed to do nails due to the litany of sanitation issues. The massage is good, the pedicure conditions are extremely concerning and I will not be returning for either service. Old review: Massage was great for the price, the place is extremely clean and calming, and the staff is very hospitable!

I am so glad I found this place, 100% recommended. Ms.Aimee, she did my massage and she is so amazing! I didnt tell her exactly but she knows where to put the pressure, she has a magic touch not even exaggerating, ✨and Ms. Sherry, she did my cupping she took time to explain to where all my pain points thats where it really hurst. The manager Ms Jolin she is so sweet and thoughtful, she even gave me a rose to make me feel better because I told her how stressful it was the last few weeks. She ask me where I want the therapist to focus because we start and also the after care.I love this place already!

I did a 90 min couples massage with my husband for our anniversary. It was absolutely amazing. Incredibly high quality and relaxing. You are greeted with lemon water and when you finish taken into a room and served water again. They also give you a little thank you gift after! Would come back in a heart beat.

My husband and I came to Sister Lavender Spa for his birthday, and I really wanted to make it a special experience. From the very beginning, the owner personally emailed me to confirm our appointment and go over our services, which immediately made everything feel thoughtful and intentional. When I mentioned it was it was my husbands birthday, she was so kind and accommodating. I told her he prefers extremely deep pressure for massages, and she paired him with a therapist who specializes in deep tissue and has over 20 years of experience — which was such a reassuring touch. When we arrived, the spa was spotless and very welcoming. They gave us slippers right away, which made it feel cozy and relaxing from the start. I also got to have my scalp examined under a microscope, which was such a cool and unique experience. I was honestly so happy to hear that my scalp is super healthy (not a flex, but I’ll take it 😌). It was also helpful to learn that a little natural oil is completely normal — it felt validating. My husband absolutely loved his deep tissue massage. He’s pretty particular about pressure, and it’s usually hard for him to find someone who goes deep enough, but his therapist really delivered. She focused on his tight IT band, which has been bothering him, and he was so grateful afterward. I had a massage paired with a head spa treatment, and it was pure pampering. The massage was amazing, and I also got hot stones and a facial. The head spa portion was my favorite — especially the steamer over my hair while the mask set. It felt luxurious and incredibly relaxing. After our services, we finished with a couples pedicure. It was such a relaxing way to wrap up the day. My toes turned out perfect, and my hubby was especially happy because his main goal with pedicures is getting the dead skin smoothed down — and they did such a great job. His feet were unbelievably smooth afterward. Overall, we loved our experience. I actually discovered this spa while driving to a friend’s house and decided to give it a try, hoping it would be a great birthday surprise for bae — and I’m so glad I did. The service, the care, and the attention to detail made the whole day feel special. We’ll definitely be back.

The massage I got here today was AMAZING! 🙌🏾 Vivi did an incredible job, and I definitely plan on coming back soon—and often! I’ll be trying their spa pedicure next time too. Great service and a great experience all around. I highly recommend checking them out! 💆🏾‍♂️👏🏾
