I am extremely disappointed to be writing this review because I initially had a positive experience with ACE Services when they were contracted through Caring Transitions in March 2025.
Based on that experience, I reached out to them directly on November 1, 2025 to help move my elderly mother’s belongings into storage and complete a large cleanout of the remaining items in her home.
I was very clear from the beginning that we were on a firm deadline. All items needed to be removed and I needed time to clean the house before our final walkthrough for the sale of this property on December 9, 2025. I also clearly communicated that it made the most sense to complete the move first and then do the cleanout afterward to avoid confusion about what was being kept versus discarded.
The job was scheduled for November 28. When the crew arrived that morning (without Camden present), they informed me they were instructed to begin the cleanout first — directly contradicting what I had discussed. This created unnecessary stress, particularly for my elderly mother, as she had to be present during much of the cleanout when that was not the plan.
By 4:00pm that day, most of her items were moved to storage, but the cleanout was not completed. I was told they would return within one to three days to finish. I was asked to pay in full and, trusting Camden’s word, I paid $5,307.25 with the expectation they would promptly return.
They did not.
Weather was initially cited as a barrier, which I understood. However, after conditions improved, Camden stated they would return December 4. They did not. On December 5, I was told the crew would come that day, then told it would be the following morning instead. On December 6 — a clear, sunny 49-degree day — I received no communication at all. Despite multiple calls, texts, and voicemails, Camden did not respond. No one showed up. I was never informed of a cancellation or delay.
Complicating matters further, their Facebook business page unexpectedly disappeared that same day. With a hard December 9 deadline looming and no communication whatsoever, I was forced to hire another company to complete the job. The other company arrived the next morning at 7:30am and finished the remaining cleanout by 12:45pm for $700.
After repeated attempts to reach Camden with no success, he eventually responded and agreed by text to issue a refund for the incomplete portion of the job and requested my Venmo information, which I provided on December 7 at 4:00pm.
No refund was ever sent.
As of March 1, 2026 — nearly three months later — no refund has been provided, and my calls and messages are again being ignored.
This situation placed significant stress on my family during an already emotional transition for my mother. While my initial experience with ACE Services was positive, this experience was marked by poor communication, missed commitments, and failure to follow through on an agreed refund.
Please keep this in mind if you are considering hiring them.
