Daddy O’s Creamery

I have been a long term customer at Daddy Os, buying gift cards and bringing my family for years. Their ice cream is fantastic. However, after my experience this week I would never go back. We ordered custom ice cream cake for my kids who were getting black belts in karate. I explicitly said I did not want any red or pink because they are brother and sister, celebrating an accomplishment, not a wedding. They brought me a red floral cake. I told the manager the party was now and I would like a partial refund (I prepaid) as this was not what I ordered and she said they do not offer refunds. I asked for a giftcard or some compensation and was denied. She then took the cake back to redo it and wrote my daughter’s name (missing the y) incorrectly and as you can see by the picture, the writing is very elementary. She then misspelled it AGAIN (forgot the L) and the “and” sign is over top of her name. It was horrific customer service and I am appalled at the product. I gave them two days to call me and discuss further, but they did not. I would never support this business again.

Long time customer of Daddy O’s and I’m not complaining of the taste and flavor of their product. However, tonight is the second time I’ve bought a pint, in the last couple weeks which costs $7.18, and received a very light weight container. Barely filled! When I push down on the ice cream you will clearly see in the second photo how much room is left that could have been filled with more. I might as well have bought just a cup. Not to mention the ice cream is soft enough to push down. I love to support local business, and don’t mind paying the price, but can I please have my money’s worth! Please show your employees how to properly serve a pint of ice cream.
