Onto is located in a modern and elegant building, which makes a very good first impression. The apartments are spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, and the rooftop garden offers a beautiful view, making it a genuinely pleasant place to stay. However, the service at reception did not always meet the standards one would expect given the quality of the building. Depending on the person on duty, the level of service ranged from helpful and friendly to very bare-minimum, creating noticeable inconsistency throughout the stay. There were also clear operational issues. The digital lock of apartment 10D was dysfunctional, making access to the room repeatedly difficult and unnecessarily stressful. In addition, the snacks provided at reception were often out of stock, which, while minor, reinforced the impression of uneven management. Finally, the checkout process was very poorly handled by Mr Mario. Having someone come to check the minibar in order to refund our deposit took an excessive amount of time, and we had to insist quite firmly for this to be done before leaving for the airport and finally they only managed to have one room checked and we had to leave without our deposit refund for the 2nd room. This created avoidable stress at the end of an otherwise comfortable stay. Overall, Onto has strong physical assets and real potential, but service consistency, maintenance, and checkout procedures need a lot of improvement to fully align with the quality suggested by the building , apartments and.... rates of course.

Rooms & Space One of Onto’s biggest advantages is room size. At roughly 590 sq ft, the layout feels more like a luxury apartment than a standard hotel room—something you rarely find in this area. The suite included a spacious bedroom, full bathroom, living area, dining space, and a fully equipped kitchen with thoughtful touches like proper tableware and placemats. It’s ideal if you plan to bring back takeaway or simply want space to unwind. Design & Comfort The interiors are thoughtfully curated with soft, inviting tones that create a calm, home-like atmosphere rather than a typical hotel feel. The space feels intentional, not generic, which elevates the overall stay. Service Staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and solution-oriented. Housekeeping was thorough, and afternoon service was a nice added touch. When we mentioned temperature concerns in the bedroom, they quickly provided a rotating fan unit to improve comfort—an example of responsive service. Amenities The lobby was welcoming and offered complimentary coffee, pastries, and fruit each morning, which added to the sense of hospitality. Location Very central and convenient to both Roma Norte and Juárez, making it easy to explore, dine, and get around without hassle. Minor Drawbacks Wi-Fi and cellular signal were weak in the bedroom area, and the air conditioning unit is positioned near the entry rather than the sleeping area, so cooling there may be limited during hotter months.
