Highly recommend!!! I want to give a "BIG" shout out to the Granite Solutions team. We recently bought a relatively old house and were doing a complete kitchen reno. But as a first home buyer coming from a different province, we had no ideas what to look for and who to hire for the job. I contacted 6 different contractors and got 4 different quotes. The Granite Solutions had the most competitive offer thanks to their winter special promo, so we chose them and we're so proud of our decision! As you can see from my video and photos, the kitchen countertop, backsplash and shelf are all seamlessly installed and everything is just a perfect fit thanks their laser measurements. Given so many uneven walls & floors we have, this is remarkable. Due to our budget, we purchased the minimum slabs required for the work but they did their best to align the veins and patters as best as they can. For those who aren't sure yet whom to go with, here are the reasons why we're so happy with this team. (It's long but I want to be detailed here as that's what I was desperately looking for a month ago!!!) - Fast & reliable: they always replied to me on the same day or next day and answered all my questions with all the necessary details. It took a while for us to decide the quartz slab, but as soon as we made our choice, everything went super fast. They came over on Wed (Jan 29) to do the template and next Tuesday (Feb 4), they installed the kitchen countertop. To ensure perfect fits, they did one more laser measurements for the backsplash on the same day and the next day (Feb 5) both backsplash and additional shelf were done. So literally, the whole thing finished in 5 business days, which aligned with what they had told me at first. - Laser measurement: due to the age of our home, we had lots of uneven walls and floors. Despite our best effort, we simply couldn't perfectly level all the kitchen cabinets (we did IKEA kitchen ourselves). So I purposely chose the team who measures with laser and it was the right choice. The template crews took time to carefully & accurately measure all sides and engaged us in the process to accommodate our specific needs and preferences. They even pointed out something we had missed in the initial design, suggested a perfect solution, and delivered it to the perfection. They could have let it be but instead, they chose to go extra miles for us and we're still very grateful for them. - Friendly & knowledgeable staff: from the first contact to the last day, we talked to and worked with different crews and honestly, everyone was super kind, helpful and always did their best to help us as best as they could. I'm one of the person who'd think of A-Z scenarios and keep asking questions. Each time, they didn't mind sharing their professional opinions while respecting and taking our preferences into account, which I was exactly looking for when working with professionals. When they were working at our home, both the template and installation crews were very respectful of our place, cleaned everything, and walked us through the process to make sure we were happy with the results. They were just so easy to work with! It's been about two weeks since the installation and everything is just so great. As the current status of our unfinished kitchen wouldn't do justice to this beautiful work, I wanted to post my review once everything is done, but it'll take a few weeks more, so here I am. I may update the finished look when we're finally done! Once again, thank you everyone at the Granite Solutions for your wonderful work. We had an excellent experience with our kitchen countertop installation. The process was quick and transparent. We got a quote in one business day and the install was completed 14 days later. All phone calls about the project details were followed up with a confirmation email. The install for our small/medium kitchen was completed in less than 2 hours. Would recommend!
