I called Dash because my fridge wasn’t cooling. Someone reached out to me during a weekend, so I truly appreciate that. They got me scheduled for that Monday. The technician was honestly great. He was professional, efficient, and quickly diagnosed the issue with my Frigidaire top-freezer refrigerator and offered a solution. That said, the pricing is what really bothered me. They quoted the OEM part at $275 when the same part is about $97 retail on the Frigidaire website, and labor was $188 on top of that. This was a shock because before the technician ordered the part, I asked how much that part usually runs for and he told me that he’s never really seen them above $150 for this style of fridge. I totally understand paying for skilled labor, but that kind of parts markup is pretty shocking. And I’ll own this too: I made the mistake of agreeing to the price on the spot once he diagnosed it, instead of asking for a few minutes to look up the part number and do a quick check myself before dropping $500 on the repair that took less than 30 minutes. If you’re considering Dash, I’d strongly recommend asking for the exact part number before approving anything, and taking a minute to research it. I won’t be using them again.

Horrible communication and horrible experience. They could not fix our washer and still asked for payment. After coming and diagnosing our washer with a needed belt replacement, the technicians could not repair our 1.5 year old washer and left our washer still broken. They did not follow up with another time to come back and fix it or offer any other solution. 3 weeks later we get a call saying that we owe them for the belt and the service, even though our washer is still broken.
