What you see in these photos is years of dental floss hair and wipes that bonded together to create a massive, pipe-choking obstruction. Dental floss is one of the worst offenders. It doesn’t break down and acts like a net, catching everything else that goes down the drain until your pipes are completely sealed off.
🛠️ How did we fix it ?
After clearing the monster blockage, we discovered the that the flange was rotten and unable to support the toilet.
We removed the old, rusted flange and hardware and scum build up.
Reinforced the area with a heavy-duty stainless steel repair plate.
Installed a brand new, secure flange to ensure a watertight seal for years to come.
Pro-Tip: Your toilet is not a trash can! Only flush the "Three Ps" (Pee, Poop, and Paper). Everything else especially floss belongs in the trash. This includes flushable wipes.
