Truely gutted My adult daughter was seeing Dr Naveen Thomas for only a short time. We actually voiced our concerns about his approach to her treatment, after these concerns were raised he immediately decided to discharge her from his services. This resulted in our very unwell daughter having to be discharged from the Essendon Mental Clinic as she must be under the care of a psychiatrist. During our meeting all he was concerned about was HIS reputation not the welfare of my daughter. I am absolutely disgusted by that lack of empathy and professionalism from this man. I would highly encourage people not to engage in his service. People who need the help of a psychiatrist are extremely vulnerable and need all the support they can get, not something like this. In saying that the nursing staff were wonderful, showing the empathy and respect that you would expect in this environment.

I love my stay as an inpatient and I love my outpatient group on Tuesday’s Women's Trauma group with Ambika. Its helpful, magnificent and it taught me many things. It’s worth it. I am more confident and more settled now.
