We booked 3 rooms for 6 people and stayed for 15 nights. This is, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.
The ONLY positive aspect of this hotel is the front desk staff: NAY, OPAL and PHU. They were genuinely kind, polite and professional, and tried more than anyone reasonably could to improve a stay that was fundamentally problematic. They truly deserve recognition. Unfortunately, everything else does not.
From the very first day, the problems were obvious. We arrived early in the morning and fully understood that early check-in was not possible. That was not an issue. However, the first impression was the restaurant bathroom, which was extremely dirty, setting a very negative tone for what followed.
Two of our rooms were located in the first building, directly above an Irish pub that hosts live music almost every night. The noise level is beyond description. Resting or sleeping is completely impossible.
Honestly, if you placed a bed inside the Irish pub itself, it would probably be quieter than these rooms. This is not exaggeration — it is reality.
The next day, I went to reception as my parents were staying in one of these rooms. The staff was clearly not surprised, which indicates this is a well-known and recurring issue. We were promised a room change.
The following morning, I spoke to a receptionist named FAY. Her attitude was rude, dismissive, ironic and completely unprofessional. Without any explanation, she repeatedly stated “26th of the month” and nothing more. No empathy, no effort to help, no respect.
Her behavior was anti-touristic and unacceptable for any hospitality business, especially one presenting itself as a 4-star hotel.
When I asked to speak to the manager, she arrived visibly uncomfortable and could only offer a room change on the 24th, days later. We clearly explained that we were not asking for an upgrade or special treatment — only for a quiet room, which is the absolute minimum a hotel is obligated to provide.
The response we received was shocking:
“We have guests who can stay there without problem.”
This alone speaks volumes about the level of service and management.
The hotel overall feels like a complete scam.
Cleanliness is superficial at best: beds are made, basic sweeping is done, but mirrors were never cleaned, and proper cleaning was clearly absent throughout our 15-night stay.
The bathroom sink had ants almost daily, and the sewer smell coming from the bathroom was unbearable. Many mornings, simply using the toilet caused nausea due to the smell.
Showering is another daily struggle:
• water is either boiling hot or freezing cold
• no stable temperature at all
• after midnight, there is no hot water
The breakfast deserves special mention — and not in a good way. It was completely boring and repetitive, with no variation whatsoever. Staying for 15 nights, guests are served exactly the same items every single day, with no effort to offer alternatives or variety.
On top of that, pastries and bread were often stale.
Although omelettes are offered, the eggs are all pre-cracked into a bowl and left in the heat, which is extremely unsafe from a hygiene and food safety perspective.
Another warning to future guests:
You receive two free glass water bottles daily. If one accidentally breaks, you are immediately handed an A4 paper stating a 50 baht charge.
Room cards are handled in an equally absurd way. If you lose one:
• FAY will mock you
• you will be told it costs 500 baht
• you will NOT be given a replacement card
• instead, a staff member is sent to open your door so you can retrieve the second card from inside
This hotel is loud, dirty, poorly managed and deeply misleading.
Apart from NAY, OPAL and PHU, who were genuinely excellent and tried their best, the overall experience was unacceptable.
I strongly advise future travelers to avoid this property completely, especially if you value sleep, cleanliness, food safety and basic respect.
