What a wonderful experience! Since we visited Oahu 3 years ago I have wanted to do the Lunar Paddle Boarding at PCC and it was so much fun! I made the reservation day of. Had a text message sent to me shortly after listing all details such as appropriate attire, what to bring or not bring, and knowing we were going rain or shine! It also showed us exactly where to meet our guide and what he would be wearing so it was made super easy! We stopped and grabbed a dirty soda while we waited for our guide at our predetermined location. My friend and I turned out to be the only 2 on the tour and we laughed, chatted and giggled the whole way through! Some amazing stories were shared showing deeper insight about the islands, cultures and legends. Our guide also brought us some ponchos because in fact it poured during moments of our tour! You can stand, sit, kneel, almost anyway you want on the paddle board, just know there are a lot of bridges and you’ll need to kneel down when going under. We found sitting or kneeling was the most comfortable. Never once had a problem with our glow lights either, they stayed bright the whole time. This was an experience I will never forget and am so grateful to have had! Now that we live on the island I will for sure recommend others to come and take the paddle boarding tour!

If you’re looking for a truly unique and enchanting experience Lunar Legends is an absolute must do. Paddling through the serene waters of the Polynesian Culture Center at night, illuminated by glowing LED lights, felt like stepping into another world. The atmosphere was mesmerizing and the storytelling added a deep cultural richness to the experience. The guides were knowledgeable and engaging, sharing ancient Polynesian legends that made the journey even more immersive. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced paddle boarder, the tour is easy to navigate and incredibly peaceful. This is the perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. I highly suggest it to anyone visiting Oahu-you won’t regret it.
