Highly recommend! This isn’t just a tutoring center. Michael, the owner, is amazing. He’s super helpful, always accommodating, and really knows his stuff when it comes to testing, schools, SATs, and PSATs. He’s very professional, follows up, and truly cares about helping students succeed. The tutors are also excellent, they hold college credentials and are actual teachers in their fields, which makes a big difference.
My kids have given great feedback they really understand the explanations and feel supported. Of course, like anything, it’s up to the students to do their part too, but the staff at Sylvan has absolutely done theirs. That’s why this is a solid 5-star experience from us.

I highly recommend Sylvan in Park Ridge! From day 1, everything was explained so thoroughly. I had a clear understanding of exactly what to expect. Anytime there was confusion or a minor issue, they were very prompt with a response and worked quickly to remedy the issue. When my daughter's schedule became hectic, they worked diligently to accommodate her. When she didn't understand how to prepare at home, they assisted her in a variety of ways. Prior to her first SAT, they emailed her to wish her good luck with many words of confidence. In a few short weeks her SAT scores increased by 200 points! Sylvan really works!!!!
