We stayed at The Poplar with my daughter for a night. We were greeted very nicely when we arrived, the lady explained everything we needed to know and took us to our very comfortable room. Breakfast was very nice, even though the concept of continental makes us think of simple, it was more than we expected. We left feeling quite well rested and happy with the service. I would recommend staying here for sure

Absoloutly charming place in a lovely village with lovely staff! I stayed here while in the area for a family engagement and my entire stay was great. Lots of parking, the room had everything I needed, the staff were really nice to talk to and I really appreciated the porridge at breakfast :) Very very reasonable pricing.
