Mommy's Daycare

My son has attended Mommy’s Daycare since April 2024 and is now nearing his last few months in the Infant/Toddler program. We are so sad to be saying goodbye to our daycare family and would happily stay forever if he wasn’t aging out! Sohilla and her team have been amazing at easing any separation anxiety from the start and have made such a warm, welcoming place that our son truly loves and looks forward to his daycare days. He is always so excited to see Mrs. Sohilla in the morning and make her “coffee” and talk about their day. They truly have made such a wonderful bond and have eased the transition of out of house working as we know he is so well cared for and supported. Sohilla and her staff are so knowledgeable and truly have the children’s best interest at heart, often giving us great suggestions and wonderful insight into the community events and ways we can help nurture our son. We have been so lucky to find such wonderful support in Sohilla, Ms Gagan and all the other wonderful teachers.

My son absolutely loves going to daycare. He talks about his teachers and friends all the time now. The owner and staff were born to work with children. Sohilla has made our first experience with daycare so enjoyable, for the whole family. They take health and safety very seriously. Plus they are outside lots and do so many art/craft projects. My son is learning so much. We have had a fantastic first year at Mommy’s Daycare.

Mommy's Daycare has been great for us and our little boy. I have really appreciated the flexibility they have in terms of drop off and pick up times as well as the sporadic days we keep our son home. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and able to tell us about the fun things that happened that day. Our little one often talks about his teachers and friends at Daycare, and is so proud of the art that he brings home. Both the indoor and outdoor activities that they do are varied and engaging and provide opportunities for the kids to learn and experience new things. I would say that their sick policy is quite strict in attemps to keep everyone healthy, so having work flexibility for sick days is really important. I am very happy with the care that our boy receives and I would recommend Mommy's Daycare to anyone!

My second child just graduated from Mommy's Daycare and while we are so grateful to the staff for their dedication and care, we are so sad to say good-bye! The owner is incredibly kind and gentle with the kids but even in her interactions with parents. She is understanding and cares so much not just for the little ones but the whole family! I felt so comfortable having my child in her and her staff's care. My child was always well looked after, loved and grew so much developmentally in their time at Mommy's Daycare. If she did child care past 3 yo we would never would have switched! All my child's firsts happened here and they are more like family to us. My first child graduated 5 years before I put my second child in daycare here and there are so many reasons we went back to Mommy's! Forever grateful to all the staff for taking amazing care of my baby during very precious years and highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing licensed family daycare in Abby/Aldergrove areas!

Mommys Daycare is a super fun, friendly, and safe environment for your child. I always felt comfortable having my child attend Mommys Daycare. My son was learning new things and growing each and everyday while at Mommy Daycare!!

Sohilla and her staff are amazing. My daughter started last March and I was so nervous taking her to daycare for the first time. They made me feel so comfortable leaving her with them. She loves going to daycare to do fun activities with her friends. I would and have recommended mommy’s daycare to anyone asking for daycare recommendations. Thank you again sohilla and staff for an amazing experience.

**Update** We recently had our last day at Mommy's daycare because my son out grew the daycare. It was sad to go, after sohilla and her staff looking after my daughter and now my son. She deeply cares, is thorough on safety, care and goes above and beyond of what's expected. We miss their staff and I fully recommend this daycare. ------ I've been taking my daughter to this daycare for about six months and even though the transition to go from home to a daycare was a bit hard for her, Sohilla has always been very sensitive to her needs and keeping us posted on how she was doing. It took her a couple a couple of weeks to get comfortable (we did gradual entry as suggested by Sohilla which helped a lot) and now she waves and blows kisses for her when its time to leave. She gets excited when we get there and is a happy girl when I pick her up. She offers a safe and she offers a safe, home-like and motherly atmosphere for the kids. I'm very happy with our experience and would recommend her to anyone.

I feel so lucky to have found Mommy’s Daycare. Sohilla and all her staff have been so kind and accommodating since day 1. They made the transition to daycare so smooth and really helped ease my anxiety. My kid learns so much there - I see new skills and hear new words every week. It’s so clear that the staff care a great deal about the kids under their care and put a lot of work into making fun activities. My child especially loves circle time and sometimes asks for “carpet!” I also believe they’re miracle workers because my daughter only nursed to sleep at home but somehow they got her falling asleep all on her own at daycare. My son has been attending Mommy’s Daycare since the age of one and I am so happy with the experience we have had here. A good routine was established right from the beginning, and he is constantly learning new things from Sohilla and her staff. I love the amount of outdoor time, arts and crafts, and singing/dancing that they do daily. I would recommend Mommy’s Daycare to anyone who is looking to have their child in a loving environment that treats the kids like their own!

I was nervous about sending my son to daycare for the first time, but staff at Mommy’s Daycare are so amazing. Sohilla and her staff are super friendly and always greeting with smiles, they cares for all the children. They really takes the time to know all of the children in their care. They so caring , loving and so attentive to the kids. They have so many different fun activities for kids to do and spend a lot of time outside. My boy is always excited to see his teachers and friends. It’s a really awesome daycare with super loving staff. I would recommend anyone who wants an amazing daycare for their children to send them to mommy’s daycare.
