Its an ok place to check out and stretch your legs, but its overpriced.
Theres a big car park but no disabled spaces, i also didnt see any signs for the 50% off admission price for wheelchair users. I have mobility issues and didnt go up the stairs so paid full price as we didnt know.
The museum itself feels a bit outdated, its dark and has nature sounds being played on a cd player loud. The displays are nice and i enjoyed the writings about geology.
The gift shop is overpriced, we did buy some crystals as souvenirs but it felt like a bit of a tourist trap.
The staff seemed knowledgable and polite though.

We visited on a rainy day, and really enjoyed our visit. We love rocks and gems and fossils and there were some great exhibits. We enjoyed the trial and the shop at the end was great too. Staff were very friendly too.
