A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Dayton Hotel Hardware is an absolute treasure! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the thoughtful design and incredible attention to detail. The historic charm of the building has been perfectly preserved while seamlessly blended with modern comfort and style. Every inch of this boutique hotel feels intentional, elegant, and warm. One of the absolute highlights is The Bobcat Room—the hotel’s stunning bar. The atmosphere was cozy and elevated, with an unmistakable nod to the building’s rich history. The cocktails were expertly crafted (by Padraic), beautifully presented, and honestly some of the best we’ve had anywhere. It’s the perfect spot to unwind. We haven’t stayed overnight yet, but we were lucky enough to get a personal tour of the rooms—and wow, they are absolutely beautiful. Each space is thoughtfully designed, full of character, and feels like the perfect retreat. We already have a reservation booked for an upcoming wedding we’re hosting at The Scotsman, and we can’t wait to experience it all firsthand. Padraic and Jin’Ah were welcoming, genuine, and clearly proud of this incredible space. Every interaction is personal and sincere. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of downtown Dayton with easy access to shops, restaurants, and local charm. Hotel Hardware is truly one of a kind. It captures the soul of small-town history with the sophistication of a high-end getaway. We can’t wait to come back and spend another evening and get the full experience.

Immaculately clean, so comfortable, the vibe is so sophisticated and well designed with every detail. Loved our stay and would come back in a heart beat. Also, Padraic’s drinks are phenomenal—best old fashion I’ve ever had.
