CatRec Restoration, one of Michigan’s leading restoration companies, is seeking a part time Xactimate estimator. This individual will report to our lead Xactimate estimator, and assist with estimation and processing of claims. Candidates will handle restoration estimation throughout central Michigan, including the cities of Marshall, Battle Creek, Jackson, Lansing, Hillsdale, Homer, Albion, Coldwater, Somerset Center, and Ann Arbor. Work from home could be a possibility for a qualified candidate.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must have construction knowledge.
- Must be competent in Xactimate. 2-5 years experience preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge and experience dealing with insurance claims in the damage restoration industry is preferred, but we will train the right candidate
- Must be able to handle a large volume of claims in a timely and accurate manner.
- Must have a valid drivers license with clean record.
- Must be available to work weekends and after hours as needed.
- Must be familiar using mobile devices to enter data.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, ect) strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Certifications: IICRC WTR (Water Damage Restoration Technician) and ASD (Applied Structural Drying Technician) preferred not required.
