We had lunch at this lovely cafe and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you, we’ll be back!

Recommended by a friend, I visited this farm shop cafe and was pleasantly surprised by how busy it was, especially for a Monday lunchtime. Despite the crowd, there's plenty of seating, and I would definitely recommend sitting in the conservatory, as the delicious food smells can linger on your clothes. The specials for the day were steak on a soft ciabatta roll served with onion and cress salad, and a beef stew served with soft ciabatta. We ordered both dishes, and they did not disappoint. The steak was cooked to my liking (medium), and everything was incredibly fresh, especially the simple yet tasty salad. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even better. While it's a bit pricier than your average cafe, I felt it was very reasonable for the quality of food and overall experience—it was definitely worth the visit. As an added bonus, you can visit the lambs, and there were lots of adorable baby lambs this time of year, which was a lovely touch!
