Spray foam on the roof can hold up a mortgage and put your sale on pause. In a recent Chichester project, we removed ageing spray foam from a loft roof, contained the work area properly, and left the property clean and mortgage-ready.
First, our team isolated the loft with sheeting and controlled ventilation to manage dust and debris. Then we carefully cut and scraped back the cured foam from the rafters, working methodically to protect timbers, wiring, and existing finishes. Throughout the job we used professional extraction to keep airborne particles to a minimum and maintained clear access routes so the rest of the home could be used as normal.
Once the foam was fully removed, we carried out a detailed check of the roof structure, cleaned down all exposed surfaces, and cleared waste from site. The final step was providing the documentation the owner needed for lender sign-off, including evidence of safe removal and compliant insulation arrangements.
