I attended Universal Healthcare Careers College for the Medical Assistant program, and overall, it was a really positive experience. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about helping us succeed — both in class and in our future careers. They made sure we understood every skill, from drawing blood to taking vital signs, and gave us plenty of hands-on practice before we went out for our externship.
What I appreciated most was how supportive the staff was, especially Maria. Anytime I had a question about scheduling, financial aid, or externship placement, she was always willing to help. The program was fast-paced but organized, which made it perfect for anyone eager to start working in the medical field sooner rather than later.
By the time I finished, I felt confident and well-prepared to step into a real clinical environment. My externship experience was also great — it gave me a taste of what it’s really like working with patients and healthcare professionals.
