Poovar Boating Paradise

It's was amazing experience.. A beautiful island with mangroves and back waters. Some exotic birds can be spotted.Elephant rock, coconut island, floating resort view,floating restaurants are all good. They allow us to walk in Golden sand beach for 30 mins Local shops are available for snacking Charges for this 2 hours boating is 2k. Book in advance to avoid last minute price hikes.

We took a 2-hour boat cruise through the Poovar mangroves and it was spectacular. The 'mangrove tunnels' are incredibly beautiful and provide a cool, shaded escape from the sun. Our guide was great at spotting local birds like kingfishers and egrets. Seeing the estuary where the Neyyar River meets the Arabian Sea was the perfect finale. Highly recommend a Shikara boat for a more traditional and peaceful feel.

Our tour guide was exceptionally calm, composed, and highly professional throughout the entire trip. From the beginning till the end, they handled every situation with patience and confidence. I highly recommend Mr Arun as a boat guide. He is a nice person with lot of patience. He took us around the lake very slowly and he has good knowledge of birds around the river. His charges are also reasonable. We booked our boat ride with Arun online and he continuously kept track of us till we started the ride. Had an amazing experience.
