Law Offices of Dorothy Hyde

I have been a client with this law firm for several years (more than 10yrs) and this last case has been having me feel as if the firm is no longer what they used to be. They talk to you as if you are retarded and try and argue after you have been told different information from different people. Seems everyone is not on the same page anymore. I have been trying to speak with Mrs Hyde or someone above the office staff and still after 4 months have been unable to speak with anyone and getting told Mrs Hyde is working on it. Mrs Hyde has never not communicated with her clients espically when they have concerns. I had mediation that took place with out me and on a phone between Rodrick and the other insurance so idk who side he on or what was said and past mediation was not like this I sat in a room for hours freezing waiting on medication that they held without me. It’s been months and they still can’t get bills situated with the medical facilities they are contracted with. I’m just over this and her staff.

If I could give no start for customer service I would. The stuff she has is rude, phone conversation sounds like they are half sleep or don’t want to be at work. They do not return calls, and I still have not received communication from a higher ranked staff member nor Mrs Hyde as I have requested. Never have had such terrible services with this firm I’m waiting on payment and it’s going on 5 months since I chose to settle. This is frustrating and nerve racking and stressful

DO NOT HIRE DOROTHY HYDE TO REPRESENT YOU IN AN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT THAT WAS NOT YOUR FAULT WITHOUT A DOUBT!!! I had a horrible automobile accident on December 31, 1998. I made the big mistake in hiring Dorothy Hyde to represent me 18 months after the accident when by law you have 2 years to settle an automobile accident. Today is November 1, 2024. As of today, Dorothy Hyde still has not settled my case that happened on December 31, 1998! I have never talked to Dorothy Hyde. My case is very cut in dry as to whose fault it was and to how much pain and suffering I went through because of the accident. Also, MY CAR HAS NEVER BEEN THE SAME SINCE THIS ACCIDENT! I GAVE DOROTHY HYDE'S FIRM 3 FT HIGH OF PAPER DOCUMENTS AND VIDEOS AND PICTURES OF THE ACCIDENT AND THE INTERSECTION. I HAVE DONE ALL OF THE WORK IN THIS CASE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SETTLED BY FAR BY THE YEAR 2000. THERE IS NO QUESTION AS TO WHO IS AT FAULT AND HOW MUCH PAIN I WENT THROUGH AFTER A HUGE TRUCK IN THE FAR RIGHT HAND LANE DECIDED TO TURN LEFT ACROSS SIX LANES OF TRAFFIC AS I WAS GOING STRAIGHT THROUGH A GREEN LIGHT AND HE T-BONED ME. THIS CASE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SETTLED OUT OF COURT BY DECEMBER 31, 2000 AT THE VERY LATEST. NOW I AM STUCK WITH HER ON MY AUTOMOBILE CLAIM AND SHE HAS DONE NOTHING TO GET MY CLAIM SETTLED! IF I TRY TO TERMINATE HER AS MY ATTORNEY, I WILL BE LEFT WITH ALL KINDS OF FAKE CHARGES THAT I WILL OWE HER. DO NOT HIRE DOROTHY HYDE AS YOUR ATTORNEY.

Wouldn't recommend this law firm to anyone . They don't fight for their clients, 2 years of no communication or update then they decide to drop you because they didn't work hard enough

I remember when Dorthy first started her firm I use to actually talk to her and she would get things done, now it’s pure hell!!!!! It’s everyone in that office, they just lie for no apparent reason. Don’t get nothing done. My case is minor and it’s been almost 2 years. I will never ever hire this firm again. And to think I actually referred people is disgusting! I spoke to Eristina 2-months ago and she stated they ordered my er records, then when I called last week I asked was there an update on my case, she proceeded to say oh we just ordered the er records today which was the 4th of this month, my response was I thought you told me 2-months ago you ordered them! She starts stuttering, like why are you even working there! You seem a bit old and forgetful, sad Dorthy don’t have her firm in order! I think the saddest part for me is reading the lady review on here who has been waiting since 1998 that’s scary, this firm is incompetent and lack any knowledge, they don’t communicate with you at all which is very unprofessional, we all are still trying to put our life back together after our accidents get our vehicles fixed and put this horror behind us! This firm makes that impossible! I think having dealing with this firm is actually scarier than the car accident! What’s so hard about doing your job the right way! That’s what you get paid for! Dorthy needs to have a sit down with her firm and lay down the law!!! Oh and Kimberly she a piece of work! Her mouth is just as nasty! You all are supposed to show empathy and help us during this tuff traumatic time and yet you guys act like we shouldn’t have emotions when we don’t get the answers nor help we need! Some of us are not mentally ok we just wanna put this behind us! Y'all need to do better! And Dorthy don’t come comment saying I’m not a client everybody don’t have there real name on a google review! Some of us prefer to stay anonymous due to the embarrassment this firm is causing! I do keep receipts! This photo I uploaded is the last 2 times I hired you! And I can definitely back up the hire date for 2023 so don’t come saying I ain’t no client like you have done every one else on these reviews! Further more I think it’s very unprofessional to go back and forth on people reviews about there case, not only that it should be confidential, you all should have had that same energy when we were calling looking for answers about our case! Now ya”ll bold to post the update here instead of calling the client! It’s the audacity for me!!!!!!!

If you enjoy never being able to speak to your attorney, never receiving updates on your case without you calling, and always speaking to different people with varying/conflicting information and knowledge on what’s going on, then this is the place for you. After about a year, I was scheduled to finally pick up my check only for them to cancel about 25 minutes before my appointment and rescheduled me almost a whole month later. I somehow received a check for my injury but not for my vehicle, which I was informed were two different things they were negotiating. Never spoke to my lawyer once after asking to speak to her multiple times. Whole process was Hell, would not recommend. In Response to Dorothy Hyde: You and I have never interacted besides on here (if this is even you). Everyone else I have spoken to have been other people who work for your firm, which is not the same thing. Every time I would call and get updates, and by doing so I was able to figure things out about my case. If I didn’t reach out, I would not have known or figured out anything probably until the whole thing was over. I was told you were still negotiating my car, I was told that if I could not get my car out of the tow lot and lost it, they could reimburse it. Even after accepting the settlement, I asked multiple times, “what about my car?” To which I was always met with “that’s a separate issues we’re still negotiating.” I was rescheduled my appointment because of leaks/water damage to your building? If what you’re saying is true, in regards to holding out for a higher payout, then that was never informed to me, which proves my point; you don’t update your clients nor do you interact with them. Shout out to Rodney though, he was probably the most professional person I spoke to at your firm.

I was referred by a friend that also loved the way Ms Hyde handled her case. I tell you best decision I made staff was very nice and helpful. And at the end when I received my settlement I was not disappointed that money helped me out alot. I would definitely use her again for the future just in case.

years and 7 months ago I have been waiting for a settlement from Dorothy hyde only received post cards.cant borrow from my claim and never met her personally. Only in litigation for over 3 years!!!

Kimberly is very knowledgeable and explains the whole process from beginning to end. Absolutley feel secure with her handling any future claim I may have. She is super kind and dresses so beautifully.
