I've been having lessons from Sam for about two years. I played guitar as a kid and wanted to get back into it later in life as an adult. Sam is an excellent teacher and I would recommend him to anyone looking to pick up the guitar at any level. He's incredibly welcoming, kind and understanding, and makes a real effort to understand you and connect with you as a person as a part of his teaching. That makes a huge difference in making every lesson feel enjoyable. Sam's teaching method is a great blend of theory and practice and he will tailor his approach around the music and style that interests you. His total understanding of music and his ability to play and teach any kind of music is outstanding.
