I cannot recommend this gem of a hotel highly enough. With the popularity of San Miguel growing, there are many hotel options popping up throughout the city, but none have Casa Schuck's classic Mexican decor and ambiance or a staff that prioritizes your every need without being overbearing. The hotel is gorgeous with beautifully appointed rooms, a pool, a rooftop terrace that overlooks the city and countless plants and flowers that make you feel like you're in paradise. Breakfast is delicious and the staff's attention to the property and all the guests is impeccable. We also loved the location which was not directly in the busy center (which can be noisy on weekends) but only a few blocks and a 5-10 min walk from the center. You get the best of both worlds - proximity to town square with all surrounding shops and restaurants, and a sense of local life and the true San Miguel. We rented out the hotel for a wedding in April and it was truly a highlight of the wedding for all our guests. I would not look anywhere else.

I LOVED Casa Schuck. The location was a short walk to Centro, yet very quiet and private. We stayed in the library room, but all rooms are meticulously decorated around different themes. The hotel itself is just gorgeous with plants and flowers and objects of art. A generous made to order breakfast is included, with most anything you can think of. The staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. Very high level of cleanliness. Incredible views of downtown from the deck upstairs, which is also very welcoming with cushy furniture. So we had a comfy room, great service, good food, just a wonderful experience!
