The steak picana tacos were INSANE! First time here, but we'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu! The owner came and checked on us at the end of our meal - very nice guy... he treated us to some fresh housemade ice-cream that was decadent ❤️

Perfectly grilled steaks arrived sizzling, tender and flavorful, paired with creamy refried beans, golden yuca fries, fresh avocado, grilled veggies, and thick slices of queso fresco. Every bite was seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection. The presentation alone deserves applause: a colorful, abundant spread that practically begged for photos before we dove in. Drinks were just as impressive. Our cocktails were fresh, balanced, and generous—ideal companions to the rich flavors of the meal. Service never missed a beat; our server was attentive and friendly, checking in without hovering. Whether you’re planning a celebration, date night, or just want to treat yourself, El Fogón is worth every mile. This is the kind of place where you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. I’d like to also point out how tentative the staff was to the pork allergy we have and they took great care of us. We let them know about the condition and the staff ensured us that they let the cooking staff know, cleaned the grill, rewatched all the utensils used for the meal and got to it. Everything was spot on as were the drinks I highly recommend!

The food is amazing, with a great variety of dishes full of flavor that remind me of home. Everything is fresh, well served, and has that authentic touch you can truly enjoy in every bite. The service is very friendly, and the atmosphere makes you feel welcome. Definitely a place to come back to and recommend every time.

Cute establishment, friendly service, Met up with ex colleagues for lunch. They serve colorful tortilla chips with 2 dips. Self serve carafe for water. Met the owner Angel who was so welcoming and generous with complimentary mangonada for all of us! My friends ordered chimichanga and steak and rice. I ordered the pork belly tacos. The cilantro and onions in each taco were fresh. It came with grilled cactus. The pork belly was fried and was a bit dry and too salty. The menu had breakfast items but note it’s not all day breakfast! I’d recommend this place to try other menu items.

Completely blown away by this place! They opened about 2 weeks ago, so glad to have them in the area. The portions are generous, the food is *fantastic*, and the service is amazing! They are so kind here, and the atmosphere is lovely, nice and vibrant! It was our first time having Latin American food, and I have no idea how I've gone this long without ever trying it. I ordered the pollo saltado and my husband got the nachos rancheros. I wish I could have gotten a picture of my meal, but I honestly couldn't put my fork down and completely cleaned my plate. We're already planning on coming here for my birthday this month, that's how good it was. Thank you for the wonderful service and meal!!

The food was absolutely delicious, with that authentic Latin flavor we love. The music and décor create a family-friendly atmosphere that’s both elegant and modern. But the highlight of our visit was Sandra’s service — truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. She was kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. My family and I ate so much we didn’t want to leave 😄. We live in Baltimore, but we’ll definitely be coming back every time we’re in Virginia. Highly recommended!

A+ experience all the way. I had the California burrito and it was off the charts. Great decor, great service, fantastic food. Run — don’t walk — here. You will not be disappointed!

Found this place on TikTok and it did not disappoint. I love that the menu has a large variety of Hispanic dishes from different cultures. The beans were over salted, but I'm sure it was a one off. I look forward to trying more.

Went in for lunch and OH MY GOODNESS. The Pupusas were amazing. Loaded with beans, pork, and Cheese. The restaurant is gorgeous and so clean. You have to try it for yourself.

The waitress was very rush rush about us ordering. Was my first time ever there, and they have many different options. As soon as we sat she asked our order. I did advise this was our first time and we needed a few minutes. She was back 2 minutes later again asking our order and I said we need just a couple minutes. Then she asked if we wanted a drink while we waited.. she brought our drinks fast and again asked our order... luckily I found something to get her the order so she would calm. After taking our order and we got the food, she checked once to see how food was and I advised they forgot my rice. She did bring that out and apologized and checked again to see if we needed boxes and how we are paying.... the whole situation felt rushed. I do not think I will be going there again.
