Short version: Morningside 621 Dental Surgery completely exceeded our expectations in both service and professionalism. One standout feature is that they have their own in-house dental crown milling machine. They managed to complete two fillings and a custom crown for me, and all within a single afternoon. Absolutely amazing efficiency. Full review: After moving back to Brisbane from Sydney, we discovered that our long-term dentist of over ten years had retired. So we started looking for a new clinic near home and decided to book our first appointments with Dr. Wu and Dr. Ip for a check-up and clean. My wife and I scheduled the same time slot to save travel time, and from that very first visit, we were genuinely impressed. I never knew a dental experience could feel this gentle and friendly. Not that our previous dentist was bad, it’s just that the level of care here raised our definition of “gentle and friendly” to a whole new level! During the examination, Dr. Wu noticed a crack in one of my teeth and recommended a crown to protect it and prolong its lifespan. Since I had just started a new job, I initially thought I would postpone the treatment because getting a crown usually means multiple visits. To my surprise, Dr. Wu told me they could finish everything in one single afternoon. That completely challenged my old impression of crown procedures, which used to involve taking impressions with gooey molds and waiting at least a week for the lab work. It turns out the clinic has a 3D intraoral scanner and an on-site milling machine that can create a custom ceramic crown right away. I was genuinely impressed by how advanced dental technology has become. So I booked the treatment and had my crown done along with two fillings near my wisdom teeth. Dr. Wu mentioned I might feel some discomfort, but throughout the whole procedure, I barely felt anything. Later I learned that he intentionally injects the anaesthetic more slowly to reduce pain. Such a thoughtful detail that really makes a difference. The crown and fillings were completed smoothly. After the anaesthetic wore off on the first night, I felt a mild soreness similar to having a tooth extracted, but by the next morning it had already improved to just a faint discomfort. If not for that subtle feeling, I could almost forget I had dental work done yesterday. I’ll continue to monitor it over the next few days, but as of now, I truly have nothing to complain about. Professional and caring dentists and nurses, friendly reception staff, a clean environment, and state-of-the-art equipment. I’m genuinely grateful to have found this clinic. Highly recommended.

Ive had three visits thus far with Erin and she is wonderful, as are the assistants. Can't speak highly enough. Definitely top quality work with patience, care and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
