Gatehouse Montessori School

I registered my daughter here last year and we were so excited for her to start in September 2025. I took her for gradual entry for one hour and she went in and was so happy. when I came back to pick her up I heard the teacher constantly telling her to shhhh. She is only 2.5. She came back crying so bad. She was so traumatized by that teacher. This is a preschool not a university. They cant talk to a child like that. Teacher came to me so angry and aggressive and told me I don't know why they registered her here. I was like it takes a month for a child to adapt to a new environment and its you job to teach her that. I feel like the teacher controls picked at her in that one hour. My daughter cried all day. I don't recommend this place at all. This place is like a military.

Wonderful school and a very satisfied experience. Our daughter joined Gatehouse from Oct 2023, until now it’s around 8 months. We can see very obvious progress and development for both her academic, emotional and other areas. The school is great and excellent, from the classroom layout, educational tools and materials, and the teaching methodology, most importantly the teachers, they are very professional and considerate for the kids, they use the pure Montessori guide to teach and help kids, make sure the kids can enjoy daily activities and education, develop their independence, meanwhile the teachers also provide assistance and guide if needed. My daughter is so excited to share with me about her daily school life, what she has learned, which French song she sings, everything about the teachers, friends and her friends. Gatehouse definitely give my daughter quite a lot of positive impact for her development. I highly recommend Gatehouse Montessori School.

We had a wonderful experience at the Gatehouse! The environment is warm, welcoming, and full of learning opportunities. The teachers are skilled at guiding the children through their activities. My child has shown fantastic progress in terms of independence, caring, and learning skills. The school's focus on individual learning pace and self-directed activities has really made a positive impact. We highly recommend this Montessori preschool!

Gatehouse Montessori School is fantastic! The teachers are excellent, and our daughter love here a lot. She grows up from a timid little girl to a confident child! It's perfect for young kids. We, as parents, are extremely satisfied. Highly recommended!👍

This school is absolutely awful. It seems like they don't like certain kids. There are better montessori schools than this one. They expect your child to be very quiet and seat in one spot without moving. I don't recommend it.

I couldn't possibly say enough to describe how beneficial this school was to the well-being of my child. They are kind, confident, broadly skilled, and curious, and I firmly believe that these attributes were thoughtfully honed through the contributions of Miss Angelica and the rest of the educators at Gatehouse. The school had a very community-focused culture between teachers, parents, and students, and the children can absolutely sense that there is a village behind their well-being. My only complaint is that the front-door management and parking could be finnicky at times, but that minor pain pales in comparison to the benefits every child at this school is taking away from the dedicated teachers that make this place so special.

I feel extremely lucky and graceful to choose gatehouse as the preschool for My kid. Our experience with Gatehouse Montessori is excellent. My kid enjoys going to school and has an amazing time there. Teachers are professional, caring and friendly. Principal is supportive and helpful. Especially during the pandemic, the school did their best to ensure everyone is healthy and safe. I highly recommend this school to anyone who’s looking for a great place for their little one.I really wish gatehouse could extend their program to elementary school in the future!

My first kid went to Gatehouse a couple of days ago and we had an very good expericence here. So, we sent our second kid to Gatehouse too. He started from Jan. 2024. We are very pleased to see his growth socially and acdamically. Thank to all the wonderful teachers here, my son adapted to school very fast and has been enjoying school very much. He has learnt numbers, shapes, letters, continents, and many great practical life skills. And we definitely will send our third girl here when she turns 3 years old.

As a parent who was new to the Montessori approach, I had many hesitations about transitioning my son Nick from a play-based environment to Gatehouse Montessori. However, now that we are at the end of his journey here, I can confidently say that I love the school, from the principal to the wonderful teachers. Nick’s growth and learning have been beyond my imagination. The nurturing and supportive environment at Gatehouse Montessori has allowed him to flourish in ways I never expected. Ms. Annar and Ms Nanncy you made his journey unforgettable. Thank you, Gatehouse Montessori, for providing Nick with such a positive and enriching educational experience.

My son started to go to Gatehouse when he was 3. It’s an authentic Montessori school with nice well-trained teachers. The teachers at school are very kind, patient and friendly to the kids. Ms. Sundeep is very easy to communicate and always give parents a lot of help. As a parent, I’m very pleased and excited to see the progress my child has made each month. I will definitely send my second kid to Gatehouse when he turns 3. Highly recommended!
