Just a few seconds from Kamakura Station, this authentic kimono shop is quite a hidden gem. The owner is incredibly friendly and speaks fluent English, making communication very easy. They not only sell beautiful traditional kimonos but also offer convenient services like luggage storage and currency exchange. Even more, the owner went over and beyond to hold our luggage even past closing hours. Really nice guy 👌

It’s near Kamakura station(West Exit), just a 1-minute walk away. It is a traditional kimono shop, but they also offer luggage storage or delivery service. The shop owners are so kind. I heard that these kind of “real” kimono shops have been decreasing, so it’s a precious opportunity to see authentic kimonos. I recommend it to anyone who want to enjoy warm and friendly communication!
