Wish I had read deeper into the reviews…
-I’ll say it now, Save your money don’t come here.
-from start to finish
-arrived at 7:30pm. No one was there (the 1st sign I stupidly ignored)
-we order just 1 double patty wagyu burger (thank god)
-they auto cooked it to well done. Regardless of being overcooked (in my opinion) the taste was awful. The potato wedge fries were also disgusting (even with ketchup I couldn’t stomach the fries)
-the server who was also the cook pressured us to read into their heritage book (more than once making it awkward)
-we were also pressured into giving a good review (awkwardly, more than once)
-i left a 5 star review but quickly deleted it after we left, and now I’m redoing a proper review at our hotel.
-The server Isho (I think that was her name) was very nice and friendly (she speaks English well). I want to give a 5 star review for service alone BUT here’s the kicker… they only accept cards for payment and guess what popped up at the end…! An option to leave a tip. So was she really that nice or just buttering us up for a good tip.
we stayed in Japan for 9 days. This was the end of our 8th day and we ate everywhere… street food, food courts, take away only places, restaurants low and high end, 7-11, Lawson and many other mall / grocery markets AND this was the first place to hustle for a tip.
-I would have been happier with a hamburger from McDonalds. Honestly a better taste & wont cost you over 6,000 yen 😢
-I’ll say it again, save your taste buds, save your money, don’t come here!!!!!
