My nephew just turned four in January and has been attending this Taekwondo school for about six months now. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. The school is run by Master Kim, and every instructor here is an incredible role model for young children. They are patient, kind, attentive, and truly take the time to notice and support each student. Class sizes are small, with multiple instructors present, which makes a huge difference—no child gets lost or overlooked. What stands out most is the respect my nephew has developed for his instructors. It’s powerful for young children to be around adults who are excellent at what they do and who model emotional regulation, kindness, gentleness, and calm confidence. Those qualities really shine through in every class. The facility itself is large, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of parking, which makes drop-offs and pickups easy. They also do a great job keeping the kids motivated and excited. There are graduation ceremonies and incentives throughout the year, including a sticker system that gives the kids something tangible to work toward. While self-motivation is important, especially as kids grow, at this young age it’s wonderful to see them excited and eager to come back to class. Overall, this has been a fantastic experience for our family, and I highly recommend this school for anyone looking for a supportive, high-quality Taekwondo program for young children.

We just started with our 2 boys (baby tigers and little tigers) after doing the 1 week trial. They both quickly integrated with the classes, which helped since they had friends already doing it. Master Kim and staff are both patient and firm. 30min classes are very fast paced and actioned pack - filled with a variety of activities including quick meditation, yelling of their opening and closing phrases, lots of running back and forth, and small group work split by level. Great way to get rid of plenty of energy, but still focusing on listening to directions. Classes ranged from 6 to 20 kids, since they very flexible about their schedule. They have sessions every day, which makes it easy to get through 2/week practice in. And they seem to have lots of ways to level up, through stickers and stars and belts, so that even the littlest of kids stay motivated. We just signed up for a month to month, possibly extending to a year soon. We'll see how it goes! Wish they would (1) stop giving out lollipops after every class (maybe just the weekends) since it's hard for little ones to say no and (2) give out a cheat sheet of all the sayings and phrases they shout so parents can follow along.
