Stellar service from Captain Jon and crew! By far the best guide experience I’ve ever had because they listen to what you want, and are responsive to your requests. Landed two of my bucket list species. In Sarasota they know where to find the fish and are well mannered. I kept saying I could not have asked for more!

We’ve gone out 3 years with Captain John now - absolutely the best fishing trips we’ve ever been on. We will continue to call Captain John every time we come down to FL - he is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and absolutely hilarious. He gets us on the fish both in the bays and miles out, does all the baiting and taking off, and creates lifelong memories for us. Thanks Capt John for all the wonderful memories and full bellies!!

I was visiting family and we booked a trip with this fishing charter. The crew especially Captain Jon was friendly and helpful, especially with those of us who weren’t experienced. I’d happily go out with them again next time I’m in town.

We had a great fishing trip out of Sarasota with Captain John and Reel Smart Charters. We were total novices and he made it easy for us and our young teenager to just fish and have a great time. He even filleted our catch for easy cooking that night!

Capt John is the best!!! Every location fish were biting and we caught a variety. Hes a pleasure to joke around with and provides a great experience teaching young anglers or those older ones reguardless of expertise. Highly recommend whether its a trip for friends or family!!!!
